We're Hiring: Join Central to the Valley as a Brand Ambassador (Boothinator)

Do you love meeting new people, supporting local agriculture, and representing a mission you believe in? Central to the Valley is looking for a Brand Ambassador (affectionately known as a Boothinator) to help us connect communities with the farmers and food businesses that make the San Joaquin Valley extraordinary.

As a Brand Ambassador, you'll be the face of Central to the Valley at community events, farmers markets, industry gatherings, and outreach opportunities throughout the region. You'll help share our mission, build relationships with local businesses and community partners, and introduce more people to the incredible food and farming happening right here.

The Opportunity

Location: Fresno, Merced, Madera, Tulare, and Kings Counties (San Joaquin Valley)
Type: Part-time contractor (approx. 10 hours/week, flexible)
Compensation: $22/hour, plus mileage reimbursement

We are looking for a motivated, community-oriented individual to support outreach and on-the-ground activation for the launch of Central to the Valley. This flexible role is a rare opportunity to be part of building a regional brand from the ground up while gaining hands-on experience in community engagement, food systems, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Events

    • Represent CTTV at events across the region

    • Handle event setup and breakdown

    • Engage with the public and share CTTV’s mission

  • Outreach to Restaurants & Retailers

    • Conduct in-person visits to local businesses to drop off branded materials and

    • merchandise

    • Support onboarding partners into the CTTV network

  • Team Collaboration

    • Communicate regularly with the CTTV team

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently

  • Interest in local food systems, agriculture, or community-based marketing

  • Comfortable with in-person outreach and event work

  • Bilingual (Spanish, Hmong, or Punjabi) candidates preferred, but not required

Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with a good driving record

  • Ability to travel within Fresno, Merced, Madera, Tulare, and Kings counties

  • Availability for evening and weekend events
